On the heels of the Bellator 169 fight card announcement comes news that former featherweight title challenger Daniel Weichel will face Ireland's own Paul Redmond at the 3 Arena in Dublin on December 16.

With a "moneyweight" fight between former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal and Olympic gold medalist Satoshi Ishii headlining the event, the fight card is being billed as a collaboration between Bellator and BAMMA, essentially giving Irish MMA fans two fight cards for the price of one.

Bellator 169 marks the first time the US-based organization has staged a show in Ireland. For the event, the Viacom-backed promotion has enlisted the featherweight services of up-and-coming Irish prospect James Gallagher. Gallagher has been pulled from the Bellator 164 card in Israel, and will instead compete at the Dublin event.

A BAMMA bantamweight title fight between Parisian Tom Duquesnoy and Alan Philpott tops the undercard.
