As a longtime UFC fan and the former star of the mixed martial arts comedy Here Comes the Boom, it's no secret that #KevinJames is a huge fight aficionado. The actor and comedian is getting another chance to show off some slick MMA moves in his new Netflix film, True Memoirs of an International Assassin.

James stars as Sam Larson in the flick, a jejune, wannabe writer who ends up in the middle of an assassination plot. Larson is kidnapped after he publishes a novel that's supposedly based on his time as an assassin, however, all of his tales turn out to be works of pure fiction.

As you can imagine, hilarity ensues as James' character is forced to fight his way out of trouble, but for real this time. In addition to teasing moments of international espionage, the trailer also includes a few fun scenes of James going at it on a heavy bag.

While James' character gets to play a #JasonBourne-like hero during scenes set in this faux memoir, he'll likely end up being more a comical observer to other, more proficient ass kickers in the flick, like in this scene with actress Zulay Henao.

The actor has made a point of mixing his love of MMA into various projects over the years, so it's no surprise that he's doing it once again with True Memoirs of an International Assassin. He recently enlisted former UFC middleweight champion, Chris Weidman for a guest role on his CBS comedy, Kevin Can Wait.

Although no fighters are rumored to be a part of James' Netflix comedy, there's always a chance that a few notable MMA stars will pop up in the flick.

True Memoirs of an International Assassin debuts on Netflix November 11.
