The Justice League star took to Instagram this week to post a photo from a recent Brazilian Jiu Jitsu session with 87Eleven Action Design, the film fight trainers who also helped Keanu Reeves get into shape for #JohnWick.
"An honor to train with these warriors," Momoa wrote in the post. "Just started #BJJ. Inspired by my OHANA."
Aquaman isn't the only DC Comics hero who's been spotted on the mats, as fellow Super Friend Henry Cavill, aka Superman, has also become a member of the Jiu Jitsu Justice League.
In addition to hand to hand combat, Momoa has also been working on his skills with weapons such as tridents and swords, things he'll definitely need to know how to use as the King of Atlantis.
Jason Momoa will bring his Aquaman arsenal to the big screen next in Justice League, which hits theaters on November 17.
