In the world of mixed martial arts, every knockout is truly its own, unique, unconsciousness-inducing snowflake. From time to time, however, we are gifted a KO that truly defies the odds, our expectations, or even the common laws of physics. That's what the 'Insane KO of the Day' is all about.

Today's KO: Finally, an actual Superman Punch KO

If you've watched a movie centered around or even tangentially-related to fighting, then you know that there's no move filmmakers love showing off more than the . Seriously, watch the trailer for literally any MMA movie that's come out in the past 10 years and you're guaranteed to see at least one Superman Punch, if not multiple. Probably in the first 30 seconds. It's gotten to the point that Roman Reigns is using it as one of his finishers, for Pete's sake.

Sadly, there just aren't that many examples of MMA fights, fights, muay Thai fights, or any fights, really, ending by way of this fabled technique. UNTIL TODAY.

Taken from AXS' "Best of 2016" collection, here's muay Thai fighter Yeison Berdugo putting Isaac Tijerina down for the count with an honest bah Gawd Superman Punch at 24. There's not much to say about the finish, really, other than I'm sure that, as I'm writing this, some Hollywood big wig is likely stumbling across this footage in the midst of a three-day bender and demanding that The Rock do this in the upcoming Baywatch movie.

"I don't care how much the reshoot costs!" he's probably screaming in the midst of a crowded airport bar. "You get that overstuffed sausage casing to do it or he'll be back to mopping floors in that Florida strip joint he grew up in by week's end!"

You're right, he probably said a lot worse things in real life.
