After tussling with It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Charlie Day in Fist Fight, rapper-turned-actor Ice Cube knows a thing or two about throwing down.

Since the N.W.A. icon spent the early part of this year getting his co-star into trouble with Nate Diaz and wrestling sumo-style with Daniel Cormier and Kenny Florian, it’s safe to say that he’s had enough of freakshow fights for this year. That’s why it’s not too surprising that he threw a bit of shade when asked about the impending bout by TMZ Sports.

“Oh, that fight is happening?” Ice Cube said.

The terse response seems to contradict what he said earlier this year about Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor meeting in the ring.

"Who don't want to see that man?" Ice Cube said. "People will see people scrap, it don't matter if you come from the same sport. They want to scrap, let them scrap."
