English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran shows off his martial arts moves in the new music video for his hit "Shape of You," which debuted on Monday morning.

The 25-year-old former Grammy winner takes a beating in the video as he tries to impress a woman at a gym, played by dancer and model Jennie Pegouskie. Although he may not be at the level of a Joe Jonas or a Demi Lovato, Sheeran seemed right at home shadow boxing and hitting mitts in the ring.

Directed by Jason Koenig, the music video quickly transforms from being a serious, -like training montage to a scene ripped out of Austin Powers when Sheeran goes head-to-head with retired Japanese sumo star Yama. Even with an inflatable suit and a style mean mug, the scrawny Sheeran wasn't much of a match for the 500-plus pound wrestler.

Unlike fellow music stars Chris Brown and Soulja Boy, don't expect to see Sheeran back in the ring anytime soon, well, unless it's for another music video.
