Can you smell what Saturday Night Live is cooking? NBC's hit sketch comedy series has tapped WWE icon and the world's highest-paid actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson to host the season 42 finale.

SNL has been on a martial arts kick lately, as combat sports stars like John Cena and former UFC champ Ronda Rousey previously served as guest hosts in 2016. Johnson's May 20th appearance will be must-see TV since it's one of four episodes that will broadcast live across all four time zones in the U.S., a first for the series.

The season finale will also be a big deal for Johnson, as it will mark his fifth time hosting the series, an honor only reserved for SNL's favorite guests.

"The Rock" last appeared on SNL in 2015, where he played a buff version of Barack Obama in a hilarious cold open sketch. Considering the tumultuous relationship between President Donald Trump and SNL, as well as the wrestler's own political ambitions, it will be interesting to see what goes down on the season finale.
