Grammy-nominated musician and mixed martial arts fanatic Demi Lovato continues to show off her love of fighting in a new interview with New York magazine.

While chatting about her latest documentary project Be Vocal: Speak Up for Mental Health, Lovato opened up about how she's stays in shape, both physically and mentally. When it comes to her gym habits, the popstar explains that she's a morning workout person, often hitting the mats or the mitts right after her first cup of coffee.

I normally wake up around 8 a.m. I have a cup of coffee, and then I go to the gym. I like to do two workouts. The first one will be boxing for an hour or maybe kickboxing or jiu jitsu, and then I’ll strengthen and condition by lifting weights for an hour. I just started boxing like a year ago, and I feel stronger and a bit leaner. Because I work out first thing in the morning, I’ll have a post-workout meal, and that is a bowl of berries, some nuts, bananas, and kefir.

From Rocky star Sylvester Stallone to her Bellator boyfriend Guilherme Vasconcelos, Lovato has been able to train with a lot of interesting people since joining Jay Glazer's Unbreakable Performance Center complex in Hollywood. The hard work has totally paid off, as she slayed this incredible dress at this year's Grammy Awards.

Not only is Lovato in incredible shape, but her technique is on point too, so watch out Justin Bieber.
