Light heavyweight and middleweight World Series of Fighting (WSOF) champ went into his New Year's Eve contest a two-division king and left it that same way after an impressive submission victory (below.) Branch successfully defended his middleweight strap Saturday afternoon in New York City with a rear-naked choke in the fifth and final round.

After securing the mounted position, Branch made Taylor turn and give up his back by firing down punches. From there, he punched his way into position for the submission, latched onto a short choke, squeezed and forced the submission. The end came at 3:02 of the fifth period.

Branch raised his arms in victory and then kissed his opponent on the head before getting up to his feet to have his belt buckled to his waist once more.
