When it comes to Dwayne Johnson's possible political aspirations, Dave Bautista likes what #TheRock's got cooking.
The former #WWE champion and #GuardiansoftheGalaxy star recently told TMZ during an impromptu airport interview that he'd totally vote for Johnson if he ever ran for president. The fellow wrestler-turned-actor praised The Rock, calling him a "smart, decent human being" who's a "good leader."
Bautista also didn't shy away from claiming that Johnson would be a better candidate than President-elect Donald Trump.
"I'd vote for him," Bautista said. "I think he's a better candidate than f--king Trump. I think if Trump can win anybody can probably win. The Rock could definitely win."
The Rock recently caused quite the commotion when he told Vanity Fair that he "wouldn't rule it out" regarding a White House run in 2020.
“It would be a great opportunity to help people, so it’s possible," Johnson said. "This past election shows that anything can happen.”
Prior to the contentious 2016 election, the #Moana star hinted in a March tweet that he was open to the idea of running for president "one day."
Although The Rock doesn't often express his political beliefs on social media, he did offer a message of hope and unity in the wake of Trump's election, as he called for his fans on both sides of the aisle to come together.
"The most important thing we can do right now is be 100% committed to becoming a better country," Johnson wrote on Instagram. "Many Americans are heart broken and many Americans are happy. Let's let the emotions of both sides settle and focus on our future."
