is preparing to face the dangerous Anthony "" Johnson for the second time at Saturday's pay-per-view, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have time to speak on the biggest proposed fight in combat sports, Mayweather-McGregor.

As a fighter, Cormier understands what it takes to compete at a championship level, but even he thinks is over his head in a boxing match with Mayweather.

"I'm Team McGregor all the way but... I'm not sure he can stand up for 12 rounds against ," said Cormier.

That doesn't mean that Cormier doesn't see a way for McGregor to leave with a moral victory. He explained how Floyd can leave with the "w" in the win column but McGregor still leave feeling like a champ.

"The only way he does not lose and the sport does not suffer is if he stands up," said Cormier. "That's all he has to do, is stand up. If he [McGregor] lasts 12 [rounds] against the greatest fighter of all-time, he wins."
