Chances are, if you know anything about "The Voice of the Octagon" Bruce Buffer, then you know that he happens to be the brother of infamous boxing announcer Michael Buffer (aka the man behind "Let's get ready to rumble!"), who he also happens to manage.
So, even though the negotiations between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather have once again reached a standstill, fans from both sides of the aisle are already starting to wonder just which of the brothers will handle the mic duties for the event, should it actually come to fruition.
Bruce's answer: Why not both?
When asked by TMZ Sports if he could see himself sharing mic duties with his brother for the would-be blockbuster event, Bruce cited the mic duties shared by his brother and Jimmy Lennon Jr. for the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight as proof enough that he could, and would, if given the opportunity.
"Depending who's promoting this pay-per-view...then we'll see. I mean, I would love to announce with my brother Michael. That would be just an incredible thing to do and we'd have a blast with it."
Oh God, does this mean we might get to see DUELING BUFFER 360s? OR BUFFER 720s?!! Will one of them Kickflip McTwist the microphone into the other's hands, who will then dip it into kerosene and light it aflame while channeling the spirit of Beelzeboss from Tenacious D's The Pick of Destiny?!!
I need to sit down. The excitement is too much for my tiny heart to take.
