Just yesterday UFC president Dana White predicted that Floyd Mayweather would make $100 million to fight UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor, though he also said McGregor would only make $75 million.
Today, McGregor took to Instagram to speak on what he thought he'd be making — and it's considerably larger than what White said.
"How's that 75 milli make your stomach feel?" McGregor wrote. "It's actually 100+ milli if we go by the nonconservative numbers the fight will actually do and that's not including my endorsements and business ventures. 28 years of age. Fresh c**t. Doubt me now."
McGregor and #FloydMayweather have been going back and forth for months, teasing the fight that could change combat sports forever. Nothing has been announced officially yet, but as the days go on, the bout seems more and more likely.
If #ConorMcGregor takes home a $100 million purse (or even the $75 million that White spoke of), it would be his biggest paycheck to date. He has yet to break $4 million in show money for his UFC appearances (though it's believed he took home close to $15 million after PPV points).
