Former UFC women's strawweight title challenger, Claudia Gadelha will not be training at Nova Uniao for her next UFC fight. The Brazilian announced the news in an interview with SHOT97.

Gadelha will be leaving Nova Uniao (known for other UFC staple fighters such as Renan Barao and Jose Aldo) to do her training in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the famous Jackson-Wink camp.

"I'll be training in New Mexico with Greg Jackson," Gadelha said. "He's one of the best coaches in the world, and I'm excited to work with him, you know. I've been working my whole life down in Brazil with Nova Uniao and I'm very happy with everything that I've learned there, but now I want to fly, you know.

"I feel like I can get more things, I can learn more things, I can get better there and I'm doing this fight camp there to see how it is, and if I like it, I'll be there."

Gadelha most recently fought for the title against UFC strawweight champion, Joanna Jędrzejczyk at The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale this past July. It was the second time Gadelha fought Jędrzejczyk, as she lost a split decision to Jędrzejczyk in December 2014 at UFC on FOX 13.

The 27-year-old Gadelha is 13-2 as a professional fighter. Her only two losses have come from the champion Jędrzejczyk.

Jackson-Wink gym trains many notable fighters, such as Jon Jones, Holly Holm, Alistair Overeem, Andrei Arlovski, Carlos Condit, Donald Cerrone, Diego Sanchez and many more.
