The celebrity boxing match between Chris Brown and Soulja Boy may have fell through, but that hasn't stopped the hip-hop stars from feuding on social media.

Since news broke that the rapper and R&B singer wouldn't be settling their differences in the ring, Soulja Boy hasn't stopped fuming over the situation, taking to Twitter to diss Brown over backing out of the bout. The rapper even recently called out Brown by name during a concert in Minneapolis over the weekend.

After the on stage dig, Brown finally had enough and addressed the ongoing feud with Soulja Boy via his Instagram account.

Responding to a video clip of the concert, Brown said that he has "no need" to continue disrespecting the rapper and wants to put the situation to rest. The singer added that, following all the back and forth, a fight is "not gone happen" at this point.

Brown also revealed that, although he no longer wanted to fight Soulja Boy in a public match, he was still more than willing to take him on sans the cameras.

No need for me to disrespect this person any further. He's hyped up as well as the issue. The opportunity to embarrass and do harm to him isn't even funny anymore. I backed out of the public fight because the money/location and the fact that the real promoters were spooked by 'GANGMEMBERS' who wanted to profit off of it. No charity and no point in going through wit it.I set up a private gym and he didn't show up. So. There is nothing more to say. It's not gone happen and we really know the truth here. Love.

Prior to the fight falling through, Brown was set to take on Soulja Boy in a pay-per-view event. Boxing legend Mike Tyson was going to corner Brown, while the rapper teamed up with Floyd Mayweather Jr. While this celebrity fight will never happen, at least it produced this head-scratching hype video courtesy of Iron Mike.
