The results of UFC 209 will have a big impact on the landscape of two divisions. In the welterweight division, we will finally have a true champion following the controversial draw between Thompson and Woodley at UFC 205 last year.

In the lightweight division, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson are both putting valuable win streaks on the line (and in Nurmagomedov's case, a 24-fight undefeated career) for a shot at the title. This being an interim title fight, the winner is all but guaranteed the next shot at Conor McGregor... assuming, of course, McGregor isn't too distracted by Floyd Mayweather.

UFC 209 Odds & Picks

Despite being the Welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley will likely enter the fight as an underdog, once again. According to the official UFC odds, Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson is currently a -150 favorite in the upcoming rematch, compared to Woodley at +130.

Khabib Nurmagomedov, meanwhile, is a heavier favorite in his match-up at -187, with Tony Ferguson coming in at +162.
