It's pretty obvious that Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson want to fight, but for various reasons, haven't met in the Octagon yet — until now... maybe. News broke a few weeks back that the fight close to being booked, then UFC President Dana White crushed everyone's dreams and said it was, in fact, not going to happen due to Ferguson wanting more pay.

We all thought the fight was dead in the water, but news today seems to be a bit more promising.

Both Khabib and Tony posted Instagram's teasing a fight and what are the chances they AREN'T fighting each other?

These two want to fight each other so badly that Nurmagomedov offered to pay Ferguson the difference the UFC refused to pay him — from his own pocket, but Ferguson declined saying that it was the UFC's job to pay him — not his opponent's.

Sources in Ferguson's camp say that the contract hadn't been signed as of two days ago, but we all know that fights can be made in a matter of minutes.

Needless to say, the MMA world is on the edge of their seat waiting for official word that this fight has finally been booked.

Who do you think would win in a fight between these two lightweight stars?
