If you're like many #Marvel movie fans, then you probably spent your holiday watching Captain America: Civil War, which finally hit #Netflix over Christmas. #CaptainAmerica, #IronMan, and their #Avengers pals obviously get into a bit of a tussle in the comic book blockbuster, but it's the fan favorite #SpiderMan who stole the show in the 2016 action hit.
In a new video, YouTube user Godzillarex takes a swing at breaking down the beloved web slinger's martial arts moves in the latest Captain America installment. The clip does a pretty good job at going through all of Spider-Man's amazing fighting skills.
As the video notes, this version of Peter Parker obviously has insane strength and slick gymnastics moves, which allow him to go toe-to-toe with the likes of the Star-Spangled Avenger and his group of superhero renegades.
Beyond the spectacular abilities, the clip shows how this Spider-Man tends to kick his foes instead of punching them, using moves that seem to be inspired by arts like taekwondo and even professional wrestling. The later makes a ton of sense considering that the wall crawler's origin traditionally includes a stint as a pro wrestler (no wonder why his drop kick against #Falcon looked so good).
It will be interesting to see what sort of martial arts movies Spidey will unleash when he's accompanied by Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark as they take on the villainous Vulture in next year's Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters on July 7, 2017.
