featherweight champion is looking to make history this weekend, and in typical McGregor fashion he's already taking credit for the event thus far.

"I've had a crazy busy year," McGregor said during his post open workout interview. "I've been working very hard for the fans and I couldn't miss this event, no way. I built this event."

McGregor went on to say that being a two divisional champ was in his destiny.

"I get to be immortal. I'm immortalized, I get to hold two belts up - never been done before," he said to cheers from the fans. "It means absolutely everything to me."

This will be McGregor's first UFC fight at 155 pounds and when asked how he felt he answered in typical Conor McGregor fashion.

"How do I look?" he laughed. "I'm feeling better than I look."

He's been known to make a prediction or two in his career, and quite a few have come true. Today was no different. When asked for his thoughts on the outcome of the fight this weekend he said, "One round KO," and then walked off.

McGregor hopes to capture the lightweight title this Saturday when he faces Eddie Alvarez at . If he does he will be the first UFC champion to hold two belts in two weight divisions at the same time.
