After conquering the world of mixed martial arts, phenom apparently has his sights set on becoming the king of horse racing. Well, that's according to a hilarious video for the Pegasus World Cup Invitational.

The champ is starring in a new series to hype up the upcoming event, billed as the world's richest thoroughbred horse race. The inaugural Pegasus World Cup Invitational in South Florida will award the winner a huge $12 million prize.

Considering the huge payday is four times what he made after his history-making victory at , it's no surprise that the race piqued McGregor's interest. The Irish star says in the video that he plans to become the world's No. 1 jockey, with the help of his trainer, Saturday Night Live alum, and The New Celebrity Apprentice contestant Jon Lovitz.

"How hard can horse racing even be?" McGregor says at a faux news conference in the clip. "I'm the greatest at whatever I decide to do."

The short film is one of four episodes that will be released leading up to this month's race. The final installment of the series will air live on NBC during the Pegasus World Cup Invitational broadcast, which kicks off at 4:30 p.m. EST on January 28.

"It's an honor to be the face of an event like this," McGregor said via a press release. "Horse racing has a big presence in my country and I'm proud to share it with the biggest horse race in the world.”
