The Royal Rumble is this Sunday, Jan. 29 and when it comes to the , expect surprises.

The unique show features a 30-man, over-the-top-rope battle royal, with a twist: Entrants enter every two minutes and the fans don't know the order of the participants. Often we don't even know who the participants are until they make an official entrance.

The has not yet announced all 30 entrants leading up to the show, which means when the music hits, we will be surprised. Who do we want to see enter the Rumble this year? A lot of people would make outstanding surprise entrants. Let's look at 5 surprise Royal Rumble entrants that would stop us in our tracks.

5. Samoa Joe

The veteran of Ring of Honor, TNA and now NXT has been conspicuously absent from television since dropping the championship to Shinsuke Nakamura. It's time for the Samoan to make an impact in the WWE, and feud with the biggest stars in the sport. Can you imagine Samoa Joe vs. Brock Lesnar? or Samoa Joe vs. John Cena? Samoa Joe vs. The Undertaker? Joe brings strong believability to his matches and is already entirely over with the crowd. A Royal Rumble appearance would blow the roof off the Alamodome.

4. Finn Balor

Who knows where the WWE would be today if it weren't for Finn Balor's injury. Balor won the championship at Summerslam, but injured his shoulder along the way and was forced to relinquish his title the next night on Raw. Owens became champion and his title reign has been mostly a joke, as he has played a cartoon character alongside Chris Jericho. What if Balor were still champion? Balor has one of the best entrances in wrestling, and more importantly, was never been beaten for the title. If he is healed from his shoulder injury, it's time for the Demon King to return.

3. Shinsuke Nakamura

Yes, I know he's the NXT champion, but the 36-year-old isn't getting any younger and it's long past time for him appear in the WWE. Nakamura is wildly popular with the fans and is one of the company's best workers. Who's to say that he doesn't drop the title before the Rumble to Bobby Roode and then appear as a surprise entrant in the Rumble? There's only one way this works, though. If Nakamura is in the Rumble, he needs to win. A guy on his level needs to be treated right. He wins and goes on to main event the big show against AJ Styles. Now that's a Wrestlemania main event that we know would deliver.

2. Tye Dillinger

He's The Perfect 10, which means he needs to enter the Rumble as, of course, number 10. Imagine the countdown from 10, then Dillinger comes out to a stunned crowd, and we get at least two minutes of "10" chants, as Dillinger beats up on whomever is in the ring. Dillinger doesn't need to win; he'll be a WWE star one day. If he were to enter at No. 10, however, it would get easily the biggest pop of the night.

1. Kenny Omega

This is the one who everyone wants. The hottest star in professional wrestling, Kenny Omega belongs in the WWE. He's coming off the biggest, best match of his life against Kazuchika Okada. John Cena has been posting about him on Instagram. Omega posted that he was going to take a break from Japan. Triple H hinted that he would be interested in Omega. This has all the makings of a match made in heaven. If a Samoa Joe appearance would blow the roof of the Alamodome, an Omega appearance would blow the roof off, all the way to the moon. The fans want Omega. The WWE needs to make this happen. Omega's contract reportedly expires on Jan. 31, but hey, we're talking three days here. Of course, Omega must enter at number 24, just because the is clever.
