Netflix's new wrestling comedy series GLOW debuts this weekend, which means the 80's baddest women in the ring are heading back to your TV sets courtesy of Alison Brie and company.

Since cross-combat sports bouts seem to be all the rage these days, we decided to see which mixed martial arts stars we'd like to see throw down alongside the women of GLOW. While Ronda Rousey already has some experience inside the ring, there's definitely a few other female fighters who could hold their own in between body slams.

Here are five female MMA stars we'd like to see in a wrestling ring.

Brazilian bruiser is probably too focused on her upcoming featherweight title shot to care about wrestling at the moment, but there are few female MMA stars who'd be more intimidating inside a wrestling ring. Although she wouldn't be able to showcase her amazing punching power, watching Cyborg slam a few opponents in a wrestling match would be must-see TV. Especially if it's against her on-again, off-again nemesis , who's appeared in the WWE once before. Make it happen, Vince McMahon.

Strawweight queen Joanna Jedrzejczyk would be a great heel if she ever got to showcase her pro wrestling abilities. A great trash talker with even better fighting skills, who wouldn't want to see the champ tussle inside a ring?

Gina Carano

Sure, she may be retired from MMA, but that doesn't mean Gina Carano has stopped kicking butt (on the big screen at least). Since acting and (pretend) fighting are in the Deadpool star's wheelhouse, Carano should definitely consider a stint as a pro wrestler, especially if she can bring along the Merc with the Mouth.

Miesha Tate

Another retired MMA star, former bantamweight champ Miesha Tate has a ton of potential as a wrestler. Since she's pretty awesome at traditional wrestling, so it wouldn't be too hard to add some flair to her skillset for a pro wrestling match. Plus, she already has experience talking trash on TV, so all the pieces are there.

Felice Herrig

Last but not least, UFC star Felice Herrig also has a ton of potential as a possible pro wrestler. She's great at marketing herself and isn't shy to speak her mind, plus she's not too bad at throwing down either. What are you waiting for WWE?
