Mecha battles and megazord fights are no longer just fodder for anime series and Saturday morning cartoons. Soon, you'll be able to see enormous mechanical warriors clash in the "flesh" thanks to the upcoming Giant Robot Duel.

The folks behind the awesome MegaBots YouTube channel will be putting their Mark III robo-fighter to the test this summer when they take on Suidobashi Heavy Industry's Kuratas. The highly-anticipated USA vs. Japan robot battle is set to go down in August.

Both sides have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars, as well as countless hours, tricking out and perfecting their armored avengers, so expect an epic beatdown when these giant robots finally meet in the ring.


Team USA Mk. III Statistics:
